USAC Ford Focus Midget Series
Hank Scott / REAL RACE CARS, Inc of Concord, NC will serve as the official USAC / Ford Focus engine service and parts center for the Southeast. The North Carolina USAC / Ford Focus Midget Series is tentatively scheduled to kick off the 2004 season with a double-header on March 19 and 20, 2004. Big Daddy's South Boston Speedway, Hickory Motor Speedway, Tri-County Motor Speedway, Friendship Motor Speedway and Carolina Speedway are all scheduling Focus Series dates next season. Tentative events for the series will include North and South Carolina and Virginia. The series will include at least a minimum of 15 asphalt events with the possibility of some dirt events the first year.
S.C.R.E.A.M / FOCUS Midget Engine Package include:
- New Ford "ZETEC" ZX3 Engine
- Hilborn fuel injection, DSR pump, ITG Air Filter
- Electromotive HPX Ignition
- DC Sports Stainless "Tri-Y" Header
- Master Lube Oil Accumulator
- Motor Plate
- Clutch, Starter, Flywheel, Bell Housing, and Driveline Components
